Our Values

James C. Brocke CFP® and the WestPoint Financial Group distinguish themselves in the marketplace by strict adherence to the following values: TRUTH, IMPACT, & COMMITMENT

TRUTH: We value truth in the planning process. Where clients have done a good job we tell them - if they have soft spots in their plans we tell them. When it's time to discuss strategies we are truthful in giving full disclosure of both the advantages and the associated disadvantages of each. There is no perfect strategy. We are dedicated to truth in helping our clients determine the attributes of their plan that best suit themselves and what they wish to achieve.

IMPACT: We only wish to develop a working relationship with those that we can have a significant impact on their lives and financial plans. We frequently measure impact two different ways; first, a "peace of mind" factor. We wish to have an impact that help give clients peace of mind that they have a plan: one that helps add value and is designed to help them achieve their goals, i.e.; be able to retire and not outlive their money, or minimize expenses in transferring their estate, etc. The second impact is often measured in projected dollar values. For example, an alternative estate plan may offer a client significant savings on inheritance taxes.  We are dedicated to having a significant impact in our clients comprehensive financial planning.

COMMITMENT: Good financial planning is like a good marriage - it's not a destination but an ongoing journey. Tax laws change, investment climates change, laws change, and clients goals and objectives can change -- all of which may demand changes to the existing plan or reassurance that the plan is still on track. We are dedicated to continuing education and annual review of our clients plans to keep them up to date. We are committed to our clients and their goals and plans.
